Overview

Visitors will visit maasai bomas and maasai grazing land to observe the way maasai care about their cattle.Traditional Maasai lifestyle revolves around their cattle which constitute their primary source of food.The measure of a man's wealth is in terms of cattle and children. A herd of 50 cattle is respectable,and the more children the better. A man who has plenty of one but not the other is considered to be poor.

What is included in the tour

  • Accommodation in standard rooms in a family-run guesthouse in Leh on single/double occupancy

  • Charges of 2 guides (for the group of maximum 12 trekkers so 1 guide for 6 group members)
  • All meals starting from dinner on the Day 1 till breakfast on Day 9. (8 Dinners, 8 Breakfasts, 7 Lunches)  We have a system of providing 6 small meals along with tea/coffee in between.

Itinerary
  • Walking Safari
    • Visitors together with local masaï guide will walk up to 6 kilomètres away from the village and directly view Maasai différent plants in which 95 percent of research plants are used by local communities
  • Day Drive
    • Responsible guides will take guest to Maasai villages by means of véhicles and discussion will Stuart with a guest about culture and natural resources which found at the areas. This will take a day then we will return to our accommodation.
  • Bird Watching
    • Visitors will enjoy seeing a different kind of birds in their natural habitat including Flamingo at lake natron.
  • Sight Seeing
  • Medical Tourism
    • Loliondo forest contains dozens of medicinal plants. The responsible guide will explain to visitors the uses of each plant.
